  • Handle complaints written and verbal
  • Brand management (including development of the corporate identity)
  • Marketing Material and market research
  • Media monitoring and generate media interest
  • Negotiating with service providers
  • Manage all advertising
  • Manage on line platforms as well as key platforms such as trip advisor
  • Strategic planning for all newsletters
  • Negotiation of advertising rates
  • Placement of Advertisements
  • Meeting advertising deadlines and campaigns
  • Assist with planning and design of promotions and marketing events

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • An understanding of technology and insight into future technologies and their creative application within the tourism industry.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of strong Media/Public Relations experience with a proven track record in a fast paced environment.
  • A tertiary qualification in PR/Communications/Journalism preferable.
  • Existing relationships with Media Houses Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Brand Management.
  • Must have a passion for and understanding of the tourism industry
  • Must be able to prioritize.
